Rylan is also starting to figure out his hands a little more. He hadn't wanted to wrap his fingers around my finger much until the last couple of weeks. He's warming up to it a little now. He's also starting to grab one hand with the other. And, when on his tummy, he really likes to suck on a fist.
Carter had a rough day yesterday - he got lots of boo-boos. We spent a good portion of the day giving my car some love. We thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside and waxed it. Brian installed a hitch last weekend and did the wiring kit yesterday. Carter did great all morning playing outside while we worked, but he stepped on a ball once and his feet went out from under him and he hit the back of his head hard on the driveway. We didn't see it but definitely heard it. Then after lunch he just didn't seem to have his balance. He scraped his knees and hands up a little and then somehow hit his forehead on the driveway. That one left a big mark.
Carter had a few more falls in the evening too. He just has days like that sometimes. He won't have any falls or scrapes for a few weeks and then he keeps hurting himself all day long. Poor guy!
Carter likes glasses (or goggles, as he calls them) right now. He likes to wear the sunglasses I wear when running (for about 5 seconds at a time).
Carter also likes to hang out with Rylan on the playmat ...
This is usually accompanied with a lot of "Be gentle! Be gentle!" from me.
