Fearless at Pump It Up

I don't usually describe our boys as fearless.  They are timid about jumping into the pool for about half the summer.  They don't go up to dogs they don't know to pet them.  They are scared of the dark.  They won't leave their beds (even at nap) until we come get them.

But yesterday they were fearless at Pump It Up.  They were jumping off the top of the slide, trying to grab the arm of the purple guy attached to the front of the inflatable.  Just watch!

Carter did it a bunch until he finally got hurt.  Not bad.  He must have landed funny (finally) and hurt his tailbone a little.  He was fine but decided it didn't want to be "fearless" anymore.

Rylan only started going on this slide a couple of months ago.  He started off with stuff like this (followed by Carter doing a crazy somersault slide!) ...

And graduated to jumping like Carter (and Chase).
