House Projects

It has been forever since we've done any home improvements or major decorating changes in the house.  We've done a lot in the yard the last two summers but have really stalled out in the house.  But we finally marked one thing off our list this past weekend.

When we were picking out everything for our house, we didn't like any of the available kitchen faucets.  So we picked out the cheapest one with the intention of replacing it when we moved in with one we liked from Lowe's or Home Depot.

After more than 2 years, we finally accomplished that task.  We actually bought the faucet when we saw it on sale at Lowe's several weeks ago but it sat in the box until Sunday.

Anyway, here's the old faucet:

And the new one:

It is so much nicer!  And while we were between faucets, we managed to re-caulk where the counter meets the back splash because it was cracking throughout the kitchen.

Hopefully our motivation sticks with us because we have a crazy long list of projects for in the house and yard that we want to do this year!
