Zoo with Amy

Amy and I took the kids to the zoo today. It's been cool and rainy for a few days but today was sunny and mild.

Carter got to spend some time with one of his best friends ...


The rhinos were sparring and we spent a lot of time watching them ...


A couple of the otters were swimming again today ...


I watched the little ones while Amy took the big kids on the carousel. Carter was super cute and waved at me each time he went by.


We finally learned the playful gibbon's name - Georgie. He's around 8 years old and the black gibbon that isn't as playful is a female and older (around 40 years old). Georgie spent a lot of time at the window today and the kids enjoyed trying to give him "five".



We spent about 3 1/2 hours at the zoo today. We had lots of fun and managed to wear out everyone! Even these 2 crazy kiddos!
