Elf on the Shelf Friday

We left off with Mr. Elf TP-ing one of our Christmas trees.  On Saturday, Mr. Elf continued to be a little naughty and drew on Carter and Rylan's faces in a picture.

On Saturday we put the boys in the jogging stroller and all went for a run.  Mr. Elf must have been jealous of our exercising and decided to go for a little run on our treadmill on Sunday.

Carter said that when he ran, Mr. Elf's feet grew to fit into my shoes (that way he didn't get sucked under the treadmill).

On Monday the boys found that Mr. Elf had drawn a picture of a Christmas tree and Spiderman.  He must know that the boys both want Spiderman stuff from Santa!

When we found Mr. Elf, the boys were jumping around and it must have been too much for Mr. Elf because he fell to the floor.  Since we can't touch him, I had to use tongs to pick him up and put him back on the easel!

On Tuesday, Mr. Elf decided to go fishing.

On Wednesday, Mr. Elf used some of the boys cars and pretended to be Santa.  We think Mr. Elf got the idea to use cars because Carter is obsessed with the cars that have antlers and Rudolph noses.

The boys played with their Duplo Legos most of the day on Wednesday so Mr. Elf decided to use them to build something for Thursday.

This morning we woke up to find this!

I'm not sure what happened here!  We think Mr. Elf used him magic to make the monkey come alive and then he trapped Mr. Elf in a glass.  Maybe Mr. Elf realized that the monkey was too big to play with or maybe Mr. Elf was about to do something naughty!

Every morning Carter is excited to find Mr. Elf, but he's also a little nervous still.  He usually wants me to hold him while we look for Mr. Elf (or at least be right next to him).  I think he just doesn't like to be surprised!
