We got several buckets and got to picking.
A lot of the best blueberries were higher up - next time we'll bring some step stools.
Gray was a really good picker! However, sometimes he picked the green ones as well.
Brian and Carter figured out a way to get to the higher blueberries!
Gray loves to pose for pictures (and copy his brothers!).
We combined all the blueberries the boys picked with the ones my dad and Jan picked and filled one bucket. We ended up with 5 1/4 pounds (which was only $15.75). In 1 1/2 days, Carter has already eaten 1/3 of what we picked (all on his own)!
After blueberry picking, we headed over to the Franklin Farmer's Market. The boys were so excited to see that Ace's Kettle Corn was back! (They make the BEST kettle corn!!!)
Next we headed over to Newk's for lunch and then went bowling. We usually do the small lanes but the boys had been wanting to try out the regular lanes. They used bumpers but did pretty well!
This weekend has been the first time we've seen my dad and Jan since last summer. We were hoping to see them closer to Christmas so we had all saved our gifts for each other until now and have been having Christmas in July. The boys have been getting lots of sports equipment and accessories. Gray totally rocked this sweatband last night!!!
