Tennessee Aquarium

We drove down to Chattanooga today to take Carter to the Tennessee Aquarium. We really like this aquarium. It's a little expensive but there are a ton of exhibits so we think it's worth it. Our favorite exhibit is the seahorses and seadragons. A couple of other neat exhibits are the jellyfish and butterflies. They also have all the usual fish, including some cool sharks, sea turtles, and eels.

The aquarium is split between two buildings and we went to lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger after finishing the first building. It was really busy and we had Carter's stroller with us but we managed to squeeze in. It was really, really good and Carter didn't fuss too much even though he needed a nap.

Carter was super serious while we were checking out the butterflies. He seemed to be trying to figure out what they were.

We got Carter's new convertible car seat installed yesterday and he rode in it for the first time today. We got him a Britax Marathon. Carter seems to be a little more comfortable in it. He'll still fit in his infant seat but it was starting to look a little small in his shoulders. Now he sits up higher and can see a little more out of the window, which I think he likes.
