Evening Baseball

We have been playing a lot of baseball in the evenings lately (and all other times of the day too).  I really need to get Carter a better bat, ball, and tee set because we only have a Little Tikes set with the super chunky bat.

Carter prefers to have the ball pitched to him and he is really good at hitting it that way.  I've only had one really hard hit into my gut so far :)

By the way, I FINALLY finished the bed in the middle of the yard this weekend (the one in this picture).  I need to do a post with our landscaping progress soon.  I really like how this bed ended up.  Brian pointed out that I did the entire thing too - planted all the trees and bushes, installed the edging, killed all the grass/weeds, and mulched it.  I also directed the delivery guy on where the put the two large boulders.  Brian did do most of the design though :)
