Carter had his last baseball game of the season on Monday. It was questionable if they were going to play because of rain in the morning and then some scattered storms in the area in the afternoon. The organization decided it could be played but it ended after less than 30 minutes because of lightning (though we should have called it after about 10 minutes). We were planning on having a celebration after the game too which we have now postponed (which is fine since our head coach wasn't able to make the game because of work).
Carter got to play first base the first inning and outfield in the second. He got no outs but was close a few times (no one on his team got any outs which was weird).
I did get a video of Carter's only time at bat. He got a base hit. The third baseman tried to get an out at third but didn't realize he had to tag the runner since there was no one on first.
Carter had a great season. His coach was much better than last season and we plan to play on his team again in the spring.
