Rylan's Soccer Game

Carter's team had a bye for soccer on Saturday but Rylan still had a game.  Rylan actually had a game Friday night as well that was a make-up for the rained out game the weekend before.

Rylan had taken a nap on our way home from Smyrna and actually stayed asleep in the car for awhile when we got home.  He had one heck of a power nap because he ended up scoring 6 goals in his game!!!

There were two additional factors that helped.  One, our super good players that dominate were on the other field.  And two, the other team was not very good.  However, Rylan deserves a lot of credit as well.  He didn't get upset when he got knocked down (which is our biggest battle with him and playing soccer), and he'd keep fighting for the ball and pushing it towards the goal.

Here are two brief videos of him scoring ...

We were so proud of Rylan's effort that we went to Sonic after the game for slushes.  Carter, however, didn't want his treat to be a slush.  He wanted to just get home and do Dreambox as a treat (which is an online computer program that his class does at school to practice math that his teacher has given us the login information for).
