18 Month Sized Shorts

I really need to get the boys some shorts for the summer now that it's warming up. But both have issues with shorts.

Rylan still has such huge thighs and a thick waist that it's hard to pull shorts up over his thighs. And once they are up, they cut into his waist.

Carter is so skinny that it's hard to find shorts that are tight enough in the waist. And then he's also shorter so most shorts come down to his ankles. I found some Old Navy shorts in 18-24 month size that fit Carter well but I was waiting to see if they'd go on sale and now none of the stores around here have his size. Hopefully they get more in soon.

So today I put both boys in some 18 month sized Circo (Target's brand) shorts that I had gotten for Carter for last summer but were too big. I have two different styles. The ones that sort of fit Rylan are a bit small and hard to get up, and the ones that sort of fit Carter kept slipping down so his entire diaper was hanging out.

This afternoon while we were playing outside, I turned around to find Carter like this ...


We really need to do some shopping!
