For the first time we let Carter walk and put Rylan in the backpack. Carter did great and walked a lot further than we expected (I ended up carrying him for awhile on the second half of the hike). Even though he picked up a lot of sticks, Carter generally stayed on the trail and kept moving.

We all had a lot of fun. It's nice to have such a great place to take the kids for a hike so close to our house!
