Hannah's Birthday Party

Heather's daughter Hannah turned 5 this week and had her birthday party today at WestSide Gymnastics.  Carter is still saying that he wants to have his birthday party at "gymnastics" again so it was good to see how another gym does parties.

As the kids were arriving, one of the coaches led the kids through some stretches.  I was surprised that Rylan was very much into it as well and tried to do all the stretches.

Then we all moved to another room where there was more gymnastics equipment, a trampoline, and a pit.

Carter got up the courage to try the rope into the pit.  The first time didn't go so well.

But he waited in a long line and gave it another try.  Much better!

I'm not sure Rylan wanted to do this, but one of the coaches picked him up and helped him along.  He had a very serious, concentrating look on his face as he walked but did great!

Before cake, the kids all got stickers and a stamp (which was very important, of course).

Dowden, Will, and Carter:

Rylan asked for me to take his picture, but then wouldn't look at the camera.  He has a very nice frosting mustache though!

I think all the kids had a blast!  Happy birthday, Hannah!
