Wednesdays

Carter is going to preschool 3 days a week this year so I have one day a week with just Rylan for a few hours.  Having only one child is so nice!  The boys play together well sometimes but they are boys and get rough a lot.  And one will get mad at the other and I have to do a lot of refereeing.  And they often want the same toy or one takes something the other wasn't done playing with and there is more refereeing.  It wears me out!  So having one child at a time is so easy and fun!

On the last three Wednesdays when Carter has been in school, Missy and I have had a playdate with Rylan and her boys.  This Wednesday we went to Granny White Park.  It was perfect weather - perfectly clear blue sky and cool enough for jeans but not cold.

Rylan can now do the "scary" ladder on his own.

Rylan and Carter both play soccer all the time lately.  Rylan is still exclusively using his left foot.  He has quite a kick!

It's really nice having the boys both in school 2 days a week but I love my day alone with Rylan too!
