Rocks, Rocks, and More Rocks

We have almost finished the bed next to the screened porch.  We need to run electrical to the bubbler rock (right now we are using an extension cord), install landscape lighting, and add a few more plants.  But the bed looks and feels pretty complete so we feel accomplished and that we can move along with our next project - the bed on the other side of the house around the gate.

Here are some before pictures taken about 6 weeks ago:

And here is our almost completed project:

The boys had a blast playing in the bed tonight.

They loved making handprints on the flagstone from the water coming out of the bubbler rock!

The main thing we did today was spread 3 tons of rocks.  It took Brian 3 trips with a rented U-Haul trailer to get all the rocks to the house, but it was much easier moving the rocks from the trailer that we pulled into the yard than from the road like we did when we had rocks delivered for under the deck a few months ago.  But we are still sore and ready for bed!
