Soccer Photos

A dad of one of the players on Carter's soccer team sent me a link to some photos he took at our game on Saturday.  Here are some of the ones I downloaded that included Carter:

The team we played on Saturday had a few really good players.  One of the boys on our field just kept getting break-aways (he was fast and knew what he was doing).  Plus it didn't help that when we got near the goal, a couple of the other team's players would stand in it as defense (like goalies).  Our team scored a couple (not that we keep score) but it seemed to frustrate our kids a little that they weren't dominating as much this time.  We still have a few that aren't interested in playing (they will occasionally come out for a few minutes with their parents).  And we have one tough kid that is very physical with opponents and his teammates which upsets some of the kids (like Carter).  Hopefully we'll work some of that out next game.  It has rained all day today so we didn't get to have practice (which I think a lot of the kids think is more fun that games).
