Christmas List

Carter and I sat down this past weekend and worked on his Christmas list.  I'd been asking him for awhile what he wanted and there wasn't much that he was thinking of.  He said Legos a few times and Wii games a few times but it changed a lot and he often said he didn't know.

When we sat down, there were lots of things added to the original list - Legos, Wii games, a remote controlled helicopter, Playmobil sets, and more.  I encouraged Carter to take a few things off and he cut it down (on his own) to a list of 5 things.  And, because Brian and I told Carter that Santa doesn't bring us anything, he included a new Wii Remote for us (one of ours broke when the batteries leaked in it).  So sweet!!!

Carter decorated his list with a Christmas tree and Santa's sleigh with Rudolph.

Carter wanted to take the list to Santa immediately.  Brian and I had still been so sick that it took until yesterday after school for me to bring the boys to the mall.  We brought a copy of the list so Carter can give it to Santa again if we see him again.

Carter was so, so, so excited!  He was very confident and told Santa all about his list.  Rylan was even not shy and told Santa what he wanted.  He wants everything so I've been "encouraging" things I already have for him :)  So he asked Santa yesterday for a Plasma Car (or, as he said, "the fast car that Chase has").

I have a feeling the boys will get what they want.  They got cards from Santa the other day saying they were on his "Nice List".
