Carter drew a picture of what he wants to be when he grows up (he wrote "police man" before writing the sentence so the order is a little mixed up).

Before Thanksgiving, Rylan's class had a turkey with feathers saying what each kid is thankful for outside of his classroom. Rylan's feather had the generic "my family". I have a feeling he wasn't answering and was prompted :) They must have done this right after coming in from outside and getting water because Ella's says: "Dresses, the water fountain, and my family." :)
At pick up a few weeks ago, Rylan was still passed out when I went into his classroom to get him. This does not look comfortable to me!!!
He never really woke up and slept through Carter's speech session.
The kids have Lil Sluggers on different days but luckily it is super easy to keep the non-player busy (we do a lot of waiting though between speech, Lil Sluggers, and Carter's hip hop class). Rylan has just about worn out this dry erase maze book. He does it all the time.
A few weeks ago we went to the Williamson County Rec Center to play with some friends at the soccer fields and on their little playground. When we got home, Carter drew a very detailed map of the area, on his own! It matches up really well!!!
For show and tell the week before Thanksgiving, the kids got to bring in something they were thankful for. Carter brought in his stuffed dog that helped him get through his shots at his five-year-old check-up.

The kids didn't have school the week of Thanksgiving. We went ahead and started getting out some Christmas decorations for inside the house before we left for Raleigh. Rylan was my big helper with the kids' tree that goes in our bonus room.
On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, we went to the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro with Suzy's kids. They had a new temporary exhibit called "It's a Nano World". One part of it was a giant ball bit that was supposed to represent red blood cells. There were some hidden white blood cells in there you are supposed to find. Somehow the kids didn't get sick from this but it may be where I picked up my illness that I still can't shake.
Last Monday one of Rylan's classmates had a Christmas party at their house. Ashley invited tons of kids from our preschool and it was madness. I felt horrible but didn't want the kids to miss out. They got to decorate cookies and ornaments and "Santa" even brought them all bags of candy (Carter told me right away it was someone's dad).
Last Tuesday we went to Chick-fil-A for dinner. The Balloon Guy was there because it was Kids Night and Carter got this cool Santa hat.
Last week was "J" week in Carter's class. I had a hard time thinking of options for show-and-tell and we settled on this "jeep".
