Build and Grow Workshop

The Build and Grow workshop at Lowe's last weekend was a monster truck.  We haven't been going to the workshops as often lately but I knew the boys would like this one so we fit it into our crazy Saturday schedule (1 basketball game, 1 baseball practice, & 3 soccer practices).

Brian had to get some work done so I took all the boys on my own.  I decided Gray is old enough to help a little with building so I signed him up as well.

Missy's boys went to Monster Jam this year so I told her about the workshop.  She and Warren were able to bring the kids and sat across from us.  They got this picture of the four of us ...

Gray was willing to hold the hammer with me and work on several nails.  He did a pretty good job participating.  Both Carter and Rylan read the building directions by themselves and were able to build the monster trucks without any help from me.  I was really impressed because this was not the simplest of builds and both Missy and Warren messed up their kids' trucks.

Dangerous little man with a hammer!!!

Building is hard work!

Gray got his own apron and first patch!
