Rolling Rylan

Before Carter started doing his army crawl, he'd roll to get places. Rylan is doing the same thing.

Rylan's finally rolling from his stomach to his back (he stopped doing this for awhile) and for the last week or two, he'll group rolls together to move several feet across the floor. It's hard to leave him on the floor and walk away because you don't know where he'll end up (or what he'll run into with his head).

Here's a little video from today of Rylan rolling. It's not the best but it does include Rylan's biggest cheerleader giving him some encouragement (after almost stepping on him!) ...

When Rylan rolls from his back to his stomach, he only rolls to his right. Rylan has been sleeping on his stomach for about a month now so when we put him in his crib after he's already fallen asleep, we have to make sure to put him to the left so he has enough room to roll to his right. He's such a big boy that it takes a lot of room to roll over!
