Carter's Soccer Team

Carter had his first soccer practice of on Thursday.  Brian is coaching his U-5 team this year.  He has two returning players from last year - Brett, who played in the fall and spring with us, and Campbell, who played in the spring and was in Carter's preschool class last year (and this year).  Also, a little boy in our neighborhood (Cade) is also on the team.  There are only 10 boys on the team this year (unlike 12 we had (and have again this season) on the U-4 teams).

I only assisted Brian with one drill so I was able to catch up with Campbell's mom (Courtney) and take a few pictures.  I'm looking forward to taking pictures during games this year since I was always coaching last year.  Unfortunately there won't be any pictures of Rylan's team though since I'm coaching his team.

Brian only has 2 that have never played before and the boys seem like a good bunch of kids.  Other than being insanely hot, Brian's first practice went great!
