Home Depot Kids Workshop

On Saturday morning we took the kids to Home Depot for the Kids Workshop.  It's been several months since we've been to one of their classes.  This month's project was a planter.  Assembly required only one screw so the main event was painting!

Rylan was being his usual stubborn self and I got to paint his planter, which was fine because I thought it was kind of fun :)

We walked around Home Depot looking at a couple of things afterwards and Brian helped the boys try out one of the power tools that were out.  When Brian tried it first, both boys put their hands over their ears and said it was too loud.  Rylan was eager to try it though when Brian asked and Carter only wanted to do it after Rylan had.

We now have another windowsill overtaken with the kids' plants!  I'm not sure what seeds the Home Depot people put in these.  I think I saw basil seeds being put in some planters, but I'm not sure if that's what's in ours!
