Mother's Day Cards

My very awesome Mother's Day gift from the boys were these two cards.  Brian interviewed both Carter and Rylan about me and typed up their answers.  Then they all worked together to paste the answers into the cards.

This is Rylan's card:

Here is what he had to say:

• When my mom shops, she likes to buy bananas (That's Rylan's favorite food, usually)
• She has brown eyes like me
• When not with us, she likes to play with our toys (Ha ha!)
• I make Mommy mad when I hit her (True - Rylan's not been liking time-outs lately and fighting me on them, literally)
• Mom's favorite sport is basketball
• Mom taught me how to play with my toys
• I make Mom smile when I laugh (Definitely!)
• Her hair color is just like Daddy's
• My Mom's favorite TV show is Mickey Mouse (I do watch a lot of it!)
• Her favorite color is purple and green (Not sure where that answer comes from)
• My Mommy is pretty when she wears sunglasses (I need to do a post about when the boys tell me I'm pretty - it's kind of funny)
• I like when Mom takes me to the dentist (Too funny! See this post)
• My Mom's favorite food is waffles
• My favorite thing to do with Mommy is go swimming in a pool (Haven't done this yet this year so not sure why it was his answer.  But Carter gave the same answer last year when being interviewed by his teachers for Mother's Day - see this post)

• I like when Mom takes me to my little school (We call preschool "little school" and the elementary school where Carter does speech "big boy school")
• I don't want to put in here what makes Mommy mad (Love this!)
• My favorite thing to do with Mommy is to build with her
• She is pretty when she has a necklace on
• Mom taught me how to be nice
• Sometimes, Mom likes to watch cartoons with us
• If my Mom could go on a trip, she would go to the doctor (Hhhhmmmmm...)
• When not with us, she likes to make dinner (Um, not really!)
• Mommy is happy when I give her a kiss (Sure am!)
• Her eyes are brown like Daddy's
• Her hair color is kind of brown
• When she was a little kid like us, her favorite color was blue (He's right - we talked about this recently and how all my stuff was blue and my sister's was pink)
• Mom's favorite sport is softball (Carter's been doing baseball classes for several weeks now and we've been talking about how girls play softball and how I played for about 10 years when I was younger)
• I make Mom smile when I make her a picture
• My mom always tells me to be nice
• When my Mom shops, she likes to buy food (Actually, I HATE grocery shopping but we do it a lot!)
• She likes Cheetos like me (Brian hates them and Rylan won't try them so it's our treat to eat together)

Thank you Brian for doing this with the boys - it's the best present ever!
