PDO Pictures

Last week Rylan's teachers gave each family a photo album of pictures they'd taken during the school year (Carter's teachers did this last year also).  I love seeing photos of the kids doing their thing when I'm not around.  And seeing that they are happy - it's very reassuring that they are at the right school!

The first month of school, Rylan's class did apple crafts everyday.

According Ms. Jayne, at the beginning of the school year, Rylan and his "best buddy" (Radnor) would dress up in these outfits as soon as they arrived at school each day.

Proof that Rylan naps at school!  And his normal sleeping position - hands behind his head!  When he does this in his carseat, I know it's only a matter of minutes before he's out.

Ms. Jayne always said that Rylan is pretty much always the first one asleep each day (probably because he gets up early than any of the other kids each morning!).  Apparently Rylan had trouble making it to nap time one day and fell asleep in his chair at lunch!!!

Every fall, a fire truck visits the school and the kids get to meet firemen and see their equipment.

Parents were invited to the class for a Thanksgiving meal (which was pretty much my only time in the classroom all year unlike Carter's classroom which I went into every day).

The teachers got a really good group photo of the kids at the end of the year (L to R: Lainey, Mason, Max, Rylan, Anna Sparrow, Kennedy, Millie B., Hannah, Maddox, Caleb, Radnor, and Lucas).

Rylan had a great group of kids in his class this year.  We got together with them for several playdates and parties.  All but one of them are doing 3-days-a-week next year while Rylan is only going 2-days-a-week.  Hopefully he makes more great friends next year!
