Easter Treats ... Fail

My kids are pretty picky eaters.  They have their handful of foods and are really bad about trying new things and adding to the list of things they like.  This even includes junk food and candy (which I'm fine with).

I tried a couple of new Easter treats with them.  Rylan wouldn't even try either of these but Carter amazing did.

So first off were Peeps.  Carter loves marshmallows so I thought he'd like them.  He was willing to try them because I described them as being fancy marshmallows.

He said "yum" after the first bite.

One more bite and he had a "this is disgusting" look on his face.  I can't blame him - I think they are gross too!

Next we tried Easter Jello jiggler molds.  The boys have never had Jello before.  They helped me make them and were super excited.

They kept asking me if the Jello was done yet as it cooled in the fridge.

Rylan ended up just beating his egg up with the spoon for awhile.

Carter took one bite and then just used his spoon to cut his bunny up into a few dozen pieces.

Oh well!
