Sugar Free Allstars

I took the boys to Chick-fil-A tonight for Kids Night.  They were having a special performance by the Sugar Free Allstars.  And they were REALLY good for a children's entertainment group.  Apparently this was their first time to Nashville and their first time playing in a fast food restaurant.  It was a bit cramped :)

We got to Chick-fil-A a little after 5 because it gets crazy there on Kids Night (and stayed 2 HOURS!).  I got the boys a free kids meal to split again - this time though one nugget and one strawberry were eaten (by Carter) which is an improvement over the nothing eaten last time!  Rylan really liked the 3-D glasses though that came with the kids meal!

There was a balloon artist there again and both boys requested a dark blue t-rex.

The cow came out just before the band started playing and was mobbed by kids.  Carter pointed out that he was at our race.  (A guy dressed in the entire costume ran the WillPower 5K.  He was fast in that thing too - finished just after me!)

As we waited for the band to start, we saw Conductor Jack and DJ Kitty come in (they are a local kids band that we've seen a few times).  We said hi to them and they acted like they remembered us.  I'm not sure if they really did but we have always seen them with Heather's kids and they go to every single show around here because Dowden is obsessed.  Carter can be memorable with his red hair too so who knows!

And the band finally started playing around 6:15.

 

Caleb (in the green shirt) is on Carter's soccer team and the three boys danced together a lot.

As you can see, there wasn't much room for the band and the kids to dance, but it worked out fine!

The band was giving out a copy of their DVD after each song.  My name got drawn for one of them - the boys were SO EXCITED!!!  We can't wait to watch it tomorrow!
