Carter has new pajamas that he wanted to show off. Now that he finally keeps covers on, he's comfortable wearing short sleeves and shorts to sleep in the summer.
Rylan passed out on our run last Wednesday while Carter was in school. He slept the entire 7 miles and woke up very mad because his neck was sore.
Carter's preschool class has caterpillars that they are watching transform to butterflies. We did this at home last spring (and I still have a draft post that I have never finished - maybe I'll finally do that in the next couple of weeks!). Ms. Anne was nice enough to let us bring home one jar of the caterpillars over the weekend to babysit and watch them change to cocoons.
Rylan was being very gentle with Carter's baby bird and nest he made at school ...
Rylan wants very much to play baseball with Carter on Fridays. I think he's a little too young to really be worth the cost even though they do have a program for his age. Maybe next year.
Brian was able to come with us to Lil Sluggers on Friday. Afterwards we ran a couple of errands, had dinner, got the boys each a haircut (we went to Great Clips because they were having a $6.99 special and they actually did a good job), and then went to Sweet CeCe's for ice cream.
