Grass Hair

One of the Easter presents that the boys got from my mom were these little pots with grass seed.  The grass is supposed to be the monkey and lion's hair and you give them haircuts.

My mom planted the seeds a week before Easter.  And on this Tuesday, nine days later, this is how long the "hair" was.

The boys wanted their pictures taken while hugging their grass.

I let the boys cut the grass themselves (I just trimmed a little at the end to make it somewhat even).

They definitely cut off more than a third of the grass (that's at least all your supposed to cut for your lawn)!

But the grass is still growing and the monkey and lion will need another haircut soon.
